Why Autumn is the Perfect Time for Colour Analysis & a Style Audit
AUTUMN & Winter clothes are expensive! There’s no doubt about it. If you want warmth and comfort you - in general - need genuine fibres, and well made overclothes. Boots are more expensive than sandals, and coats and jackets are serious investment pieces. So then it makes sense that you would want to know your ‘best’ and most flattering colours before you make new season purchases, especially as those coats and jackets, knits and boots are going to be what you wear most in the coming months.
I had a (male) client a couple of weeks ago who was about to make some serious investment purchases in his wardrobe (he’s retiring and rethinking his whole style and needs now that he no longer needs to wear formal wear), and he suspected he knew his colour season (Autumn) but wanted to be sure before making those pricey purchases he hopes will last many, many years.
Virtual Colour Analysis
He left knowing exactly what he needed to buy to make his existing wardrobe pieces all come together, in the most flattering and authentic way for himself going forwards, and of course the best colours to suit him - especially in terms of outerwear, even though that meant more casual jackets and sweaters than before.
So, even though Colour Analysis seems expensive, and I’m always asked if it’s worth it, when it will save you many hundreds or even thousands of pounds in the wrong purchases over the next few years, then my answer is always yes. Totally. Not least that it will enhance your life in ways which are incredibly valuable, and you may not foresee until you have it done.
I’ve spent the last few weeks and months making sure my new online 1-1 Virtual Colour Analysis software is as good as it can be (I’ve designed it myself), and I’m super happy with it, so wherever you are in the world, I can happily lead you into a new season of the right colours for you.
